Before our customers can do business, their products need to interface with internal systems of their customers, most commonly EAMs - Enterprise AssetManagement systems. Building EAM integrations is hard: one will cost $30k -$500k and take up to 18 months to complete. As integrations are a part of onboarding, they make sales process slow and products expensive, ultimately limiting number of companies that can benefit from them.

Makini builds infrastructure that eliminates the need for individual EAM integrations altogether, and enables connections across systems – all via one, simple API. We make onboardings low-touch and entry price-points low, helping our customers get their products into hands of a much larger number of companies, and do it fast.

About the role

As a Product Quality Assurance Engineer with a primary focus on Definition of Ready (DOR) and Definition of Done (DOD) acceptance criteria, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. This position requires a skilled QA engineer with understanding of exploratory and automated testing methodologies.

You will

Test Design and Implementation:

• Design and implement tests for DOR and DOD criteria.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover issues and weaknesses.

Guidance and Collaboration:

• Guide the team in automating tests based on exploratory results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for a quality-focused culture.

Requirements Review:

• Review system requirements for clarity and completeness.
• Collaborate with product managers to refine acceptance criteria.

QA Metrics:

• Track and report on quality metrics.
• Implement improvements for more efficient QA processes.

We are looking for

• QA Expertise: Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
• 
  
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies. Understanding of modern web application architecture. Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) is advantageous.

• Desirable Skills: Familiarity with testing in non-software engineering contexts. Experience in quality assurance methodologies outside traditional software engineering is a plus.
