Our large Real Estate client is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong accounting and reporting skills, ideally out of Public Accounting, Big 4, or Real Estate industries. The Sr Accountant will perform complex Month end close, Bank Statements, Lease Analysis, and assist 3rd Party Property Managers with their Financial Close. The Accountant will maintain the close within Yardi Software. CPA’s or candidates with a mix of public / private experience are highly preferred. Senior Accountant

Salary: $105-115k Bonus 

NYC

Hybrid – 1 day from home 

Responsibilities:

• Complex Month End close, including
• Lease Analysis and Net Calculations
• Financial Statement and Variance Analysis
• Assists with Budget and Forecasting
• Work heavily with 3rd Party Property Managers on Financials
• Review Investor reports with 3rd Party Property Managers 
• Heavily involved with Audit and SOX Requirements
• Support Property Joint Ventures and Construction Projects

Requirements:

• CPA or Big 4 experience, highly preferred
• Accounting Degree, required
• Yardi Experience, required
• Real Estate or Public accounting experience
• Advanced Excel
