Position Summary:
As Senior Financial Analyst, FPA, you will be accountable for presenting timely and accurate financial reports and performance analytics to senior leadership at Service Experts with a primary focus on SGA and the Annual Operating Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior management and departments heads with business reasons for financial variances during the Management Business Review (MBR) and as requested.
- Prepare and present financial reports accurately reflecting monthly results.
- Track and identify expenses by department and initiate corrective measures to ensure accurate monthly reporting.
- Assist management with ad hoc projects, financial modelling, forecasting and various growth initiatives.
- Assist Senior Manager and liaise with department managers in the Annual Budgeting Process.
- Utilize Workday/Adaptive Planning Software to automate the yearly budgeting process and 5yr Strategic Plan
- Use Workday/Adaptive Planning Software to create an automated P&L with related KPIs for monthly financial reporting used during Management Business reviews
- Work with Senior Manager to create and maintain a monthly forecasting report utilizing Workday/Adaptive Planning Software
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of related experience required
- Minimum 3 years of experience using Workday Adaptive Planning Software
Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Experience with complex financial modelling and strong Excel and Power Point abilities.
- Ability to source all the necessary tools and knowledge to accomplish the task.
- A personal style that is viewed as collaborative, resourceful, inquisitive and takes initiative.
- Experience working with all levels of management and providing strong financial expertise and demonstrate strategic thinking.
- Strong experience with SAP, Hyperion Essbase/Smartview necessary
- Strong communication/presentation skills, both verbal and written – demonstrate confidence.
- Intellectual agility is required due to the fast pace and changing environment.
