About the role

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for cutting- edge technology? Nexperia Energy Harvesting are seeking an inspiring Group Leader to lead our R&D team focusing on AMS Design for our Energy Harvesting product line.

Nexperia are investing in sustainable alternatives to batteries and are broadening our portfolio of power management products to include energy harvesting solutions. With the ability to harvest energy from light, vibrations, radio waves or temperature gradients, these products will recharge batteries in low power applications such as smart wearables and autonomous wireless sensor nodes. Nexperia’s Energy Harvesting products can be up to 20 times smaller than competing offerings making them adaptable to many everyday applications.

As the Group Leader with Nexperia’s Energy Harvesting IC Design group in Delft (The Netherlands) you will work with a highly skilled local team whilst collaborating with talented colleagues worldwide. Your team will focus on the design and development of integrated circuits within the Energy Harvesting product line. The group leader will be responsible for successfully leading and inspiring the team to enable them to work towards the launch of Nexperia' s ‘Plug & Forget’ products for mass production.

What you will do

As the Group Leader at Nexperia Energy Harvesting you will:

• Lead and Inspire: You’ll be at the helm of an R&D team comprising approximately 20 talented engineers, including Design, Layout, Verification, and Validation experts. Your leadership will drive excellence, foster collaboration, and create an open working atmosphere.
• Train and develop : You will train, develop and maintain your team with a focus on, managing performance, driving an open working atmosphere, encouraging collaboration and recruiting new talent when required.
• Resource Planning: You will efficiently allocate resources within the R&D team, ensuring optimal productivity and project success.
• Project Pipeline Management: Nurture a robust project pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of exciting challenges for your team.
• Nexperia WoW Adherence: Champion the Nexperia Way of Working (WoW) principles, ensuring alignment with our organizational values.

What you will need

• Educational Background: A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSc. EE) provides the foundation for success.
• Experience: You bring 10+ years of experience, including significant exposure to team management.
• AMS: Extensive experience in Analog Mixed Signal Circuit Design or Analog Mixed Signal Product Development.
• Project and Program Management: Your ability to navigate complex projects and deliver results is crucial.
