Summary of Role:

Establish the equipment engineering and maintenance-related business processes necessary to run and maintain the tools in production, including documentation according to quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

Establish the equipment engineering and maintenance-related business processes necessary to run and maintain the tools in production, including documentation according to quality standards. Ensure close interaction with equipment suppliers and address and resolve escalation of tool issues. Develop and train the maintenance technicians and new engineers through the creation of training materials and performing hands-on training. Review tool alarms (OCAPs), FDC signals, and blocked modules on a daily basis and create shift request plans for maintenance technicians or vendors to execute. Analyze trace data for tool health and photochemical issues and proactively address concerning signals. Set up equipment performance KPIs and monitor and adjust KPIs according to fab goals. Perform advanced troubleshooting of semiconductor process tool issues. Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction projects and ensure knowledge exchange on best-known methods and improvement levers with other engineers. Utilize expert knowledge of Track Equipment or Factory Systems for continuous improvement across all of Litho.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Network Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Information Systems Engineering, or closely related field.
  • Experience - 4 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered, as an Engineer, Process Specialist or a similar occupation. The experience must include all of the following: (1) Photolithography track equipment, such as TEL ACT12, TEL Pro-V, TEL Pro-Z; (2) Tool schematics, including electrical, PIDs, and utilities diagrams; (3) Factory systems such as RMS, X-site, Si-View, PROTOS, Space or similar (4) TEL software and systems; (5) Creating new business processes and troubleshooting existing systems issues with ARIS, Linux, Unix, Windows, MS Office, Visio, Autodesk inventor, and SAP; (6) Spare parts strategy and second source suppliers; (7)

Programming experience for new system creation; (8) Industrial Engineering for throughput improvement.

Salary range: $103,563 – $133,100
