We are adding high-speed motors and advanced power electronics to our turbocharger line, and entering the Electric Vehicle Powertrain market. We are seeking a Development Engineer to collaborate with motor electro-magnetic engineers. Together you will ensure our e-motor system achieves its performance, efficiency, and reliability goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • driving the mechanical design, development and improvement of current and future generations of Electric Vehicle products
  • integration and validation of the PM rotor or stator into the full eMotor system, driving the final system from concept to serial introduction
  • meeting all systems requirements (Functional Safety, Performance, Reliability, Quality, Costs & Timing)
  • focus on system-level design for Manufacture and Assembly and close alignment with prototype and production facilities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • experience in development in automotive industry
  • experience with direct involvement in product launch or manufacturing support for mass production
  • university mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering degree
  • experience with the CAD and Functional Safety ISO26262 requirements
  • knowledge of electromagnetic calculations with focus on magnet parameters, bearing system calculations and / or windings parameters
