LG's 2024 Summer Internship Program will be a 9 week internship from June 3rd through August 2nd, 2024.

The internship will be based in office at the LG North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and pay an hourly rate of $23.50.

The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.

The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program’s end. 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the LG Home Appliance Supply Chain team
  • Analyze and report on large datasets using Excel, Tableau, and other tools including cleaning and manipulating data, creating visually appealing reports and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Assist in building Tableau reports, identify process improvement opportunities, and ensure data accuracy
  • Learn and improve processes with Tableau report-building with the aim of enhancing data visualization and analysis capabilities within the department
  • Develop interactive and insightful reports to support the strategic decision-making process of the supply chain team
  • Data entry and formatting; Formulas and functions; Data analysis and manipulation; Data cleaning and preparation in Excel
  • Manipulate and analyze large datasets, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights
  • Data visualization, dashboard creation, and report development to create interactive and dynamic visualizations using Tableau
  • Work with systems and tools such as OLAP (CPFR tools), NEW GDMi (Forecast review), and Tableau

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University
  • Rising Junior or Senior in Bachelor's degree program
  • Supply Chain/Business/Economics related major is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical and well organized
  • Proficiency in Global Demand Management systems, CPFR tools, and Tableau reporting a plus
  • Forecasting, Inventory Management, ERP system experience a plus
