LG's 2024 Summer Internship Program will be a 9 week internship from June 3rd through August 2nd, 2024.

The internship will be based in office at the LG North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and pay an hourly rate of $23.50.

The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.

The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program’s end. 

Responsibilities

  • Support development and growth of LG’s Builder SCM channel by helping implement key supply chain initiatives and interfacing with various cross-functional departments
  • Update and maintain regional sales forecasts by proactively partnering with sales
  • Analyze bottom-up and top-down forecasts with key stakeholders and come to consensus
  • Partner with strategic business units to initiate key business decisions
  • Support the overall order to cash process by working hand-in-hand with order management, logistics, marketing, and inventory teams
  • Monitor KPI's and compile data for weekly S&OP calls
  • Proactively identify any inventory misbalances and bottlenecks that may delay the flow of goods
  • Compile and run reports to meet ongoing business needs
  • Partner with the quote team to assure data accuracy
  • Work with systems and tools such as OLAP, NEW GMDi, GERP, Builder Sales Portal, SAP, Oracle, SFDC
  • Builder Project Tracker Clean Up:
  • Forecasting for the project side of the builder business is 100% reliable on accurate project information. Our quote data needs a "clean up". We recently hired 60+ sales managers who inherited a project pipline they're not familair with. With the SFDC transition looming, it's important that we start fresh with clean data. The project is to partner with sales and quote team to clean up our data. Having a clean-set of data would help with:
  • Better project forecasting visibility and accuracy
  • Revenue tracking 
  • NPI / EOL / Suffix management
  • KPI reporting metrics

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University
  • Rising Junior or Senior in Bachelor's degree program
  • Supply Chain/Business/Economics related major is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical and well organized
  • Proficiency in Global Demand Management systems, CPFR tools, and Tableau reporting a plus
  • Forecasting, Inventory Management, ERP system experience a plus
