Job Summary/Description: 

WTVG-13abc, a Gray Television station located in Toledo, Ohio has an opening for a sales assistant to join our team. The sales assistant reports to the General Sales Manager. The responsible ideal candidate thrives in a team environment while maintaining the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must have a strong work ethic, focus on details, and an open mind to dynamic responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Assist the Sales Manager and Sales Staff with their daily duties.
  • Assist in the development of sales proposals, marketing materials, reports, and client presentations.
  • Coordinate digital ads and upload them to platform.
  • Efficiently work with the team/management to deliver a high level of service.
  • Create digital reports and track digital campaigns.
  • Track progress on various sales initiatives.
  • Assist in the handling of resolving billing discrepancies.
  • Ability to perform at a high level, multitask efficiently and meet deadlines in this fast-paced environment.
  • Input and maintain select orders for Account Executives and National Sales Manager, including revisions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • College degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Previous digital ad operations experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Energetic and self-starter.
  • Work independently and manage time effectively.
