About the Team :

TikTok's Global Business Marketing Team is responsible for building innovative marketing solutions that help brands become TikTok fluent and engage with their communities through powerful and creative storytelling. This includes creative ideation, brand and events strategy, design & production of TikTok for business, helping bring brands to life on our platform. GBM helps advertisers and brands understand that TikTok is entertainment that drives impact.

Responsibilities :

The Integrated Planning & Operations Lead (ANZ) will drive two areas of discipline:

1. The lead is responsible for laying the foundation of best-in-class joined-up thinking that amplifies the impact of business marketing initiatives both internally and externally. The role will represent GBM in integrated planning of intra and inter-department projects and initiatives and serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including leaders across all areas of the organisation.

2. The lead will be responsible for driving effective and lean operations as well as strategic and cross-functional project planning and management.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing strategies and lean operations. They will also be someone who is emotionally intelligent, comfortable in ambiguity, thrives in solving problems and fosters a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Head of Global Business Marketing (AUNZ) to:
  • Develop the annual Business Marketing strategy, ensuring clear integration with broader business objectives and goals
  • Lead the organisation and development of new and/or established methodologies and best practices for integrated GTM activity, from initial planning phases through to exectuion and reporting
  • Review and evolve the organisational ways-of-working and structures to ensure delivery of short and long-term business goals while also driving operational efficiency in a frugal and humble manner.
  • Lead the holistic operations of Global Business Marketing (AUNZ), while also partnering with key cross-functional partners from Global and APAC GBM teams as well as local Corporate Strategy and Product teams. Key deliverables including but not limited to:
  • Holistic management of GBM OPEX, driving efficiency and high utilization on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Holistic ROI and Impact Tracking and Reporting for all GBM Initiatives
  • Quarterly OKR Setting and Reporting to capture and articulate the business marketing activity and impact to support the broader company's understanding of our marketing efforts
  • Acts as the voice of GBM in broader business operational workstreams and strategies with cross-functional partners E.G: Corporate Strategy, Finance, Procurement, Sales Teams'
  • Support GBM Lead with day-to-day management of team engagement, including but not limited to weekly team syncs, offsites and social engagements
  • Partner with GBM Leads across Local GBM Sub-Functions on:
  • Drive strategic and integrated GBM activity planning
  • Lead project management solutions for different disciplines in GBM AUNZ to ensure the operational needs of the team are being met
  • Coordinate budgets roll out for workstreams within their respective patches and ensure operational best practice
  • Ensure operational consistency and excellence.
  • Day-to-day management of workstream reporting and ROI tracking to capture and articulate the business marketing activity for the company.
  • Problem solve critical issues or situations by defining requirements and developing strategies to work with GBM discipline leads and key cross functional stakeholders.
  • Connect and collaborate with other operations team members within the broader regional and global network on direction and strategy. This includes staying informed on the activities and initiatives taking place in other regions as well as proactively sharing regional highlights and learnings with global counterparts.

  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Proven experience organising and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, particularly implemented in a cross-functional and global role and experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Creative, outside-the-box thinker and strategist
  • A team player and collaborator, strong relationship-building skills
  • Versatile and dedicated to efficient productivity
  • Adaptive and emotionally intelligent
  • Ability to thrive in a rapid, agile, and often ambiguous growth environment
