ECAD – Software Application Development Engineer – C++

Job Summary:

• Altair’s PollEx development team is looking for a Developer who has experience.
• You will be part of a team that fulfils this vision with a focus on PCB Application development.
• Altair’s PollEx development team is developing products that verify and analyse PCBs.

What You Will Do:

The developer will be part of the Core development team of PollEx Product. Using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop new features and maintain existing ones for the PollEx product (ECAD).

• Integration with other Altair products (SimLab). (Leading GUI-related work)
• Overall maintenance for PollEx products.
• Development of new functions in response to customer requests among PollEx products.
• Development of new application planned inside.
• Collaborate with other applications and proceed with new development projects.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

• At least 4 - 5 years of expertise in C++ software development
• Excellent C++ knowledge.
• Good command of data structure algorithms.
• Proficiency in C++ programming and object-oriented application design
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time.
• Experience or knowledge of parallel programming and related data structures will be a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and software development for Windows and Linux
• Technical knowledge of mathematical operations.
• Team-oriented with an open forward-thinking mindset
• Requires good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Must be able to work without a lot of guidance.

Preferred:

• QT
• Python
• Major in electronic engineering or computer science.
• Exposure to Linux development.
• Excellent debugging skills.
• Korean communication skills.
