This position is a combination of a Special Projects Team Member and Supply Clerk. While performing Special Project tasks, calls from the guard will occur to receive supplies. The team member will be required to stop current duties, and proceed to the supply door to unload and process goods. Once the receipt process and record keeping is done, team member will return to previous duties. Special Projects: This position is responsible for the efficient and orderly flow of product into and out of the rework and inspection locations. Performing a detailed examination of products to identify potential defects, assembling and disassembling units as needed for quality assessment or issue investigation, and maintaining product flow for the rework/inspection team. Ensuring LPN (License Plate Number) integrity, following operational procedures to accurately record product movement in the warehouse management system for precise inventory tracking, packing cases or Un consuming products from active locations, and splitting move quantities onto new LPNs to segregate defective products from acceptable ones. Additionally, the role involves undertaking other assigned duties as needed. Supply Clerk: The duties of the supply clerk are to unload and receive deliveries from supply and merchandise vendors, check in, record\retain critical accounting documentation for all receipts and process all internal supply requests. Position is required to perform daily inventories and updates to software programs along with future order recommendations to ensure all supplies are in stock to support operations. Responsibilities include managing the DC supply room with internal supplies and record keeping.

Principal and Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately Receive, Stock, Replenish, Pick, Consolidate, Locate, and Load Product both Physically and Systematically based on Operational Focus
  • Pick orders using an order selector, reach lift and double-jack
  • Work closely with Fed Ex, UPS, and other carriers
  • Assist with keying in shipping information (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.)
  • Minimize damage to product
  • Ensure proper placement of labels, paperwork, and forms
  • Complete accurately and legible daily productivity logs, load plans, and other forms as required
  • Maintain active and reserve locations in assigned area
  • General housekeeping
  • Order selector, reach lift, forklift, and double-jack certification
  • Excellent reach lift operating skills
  • Perform detailed examination of product to determine if potential defects exist.
  • Determine root cause of defect or issue.
  • Assemble and disassemble units as require to adequately assess quality or determine root cause of issue or defect.
  • Document defect or issue clearly and accurately.
  • Disseminate clear and accurate information to corporate partners.
  • Perform MOS or RTV of defective product as directed by corporate partners.
  • Maintain product flow for the rework / inspection team.
  • Maintain LPN integrity.
  • Ensure daily reports are completed as required by the supervisor
  • Follow operational procedures to verify product movement is accurately entered into the warehouse management system to ensure accurate inventory
  • Pack case or unconsume product from active locations
  • Split move quantities onto new LPN’s for the purpose of segregating defective product from acceptable
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to pick from top level racking
  • Basic to advanced Math Skills
  • No corrective actions within 6 months
  • No productivity action greater than a coaching 
  • Reach truck, Stock Picker and Walkie Rider certified
  • Detailed knowledge of multiple areas within the distribution center
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Familiar with Korber WMS
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to work with others in a positive manner in a team environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and possess computer aptitude
  • Organized with ability to perform detailed analysis and communicate in an effective manner with all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to analyze systems details through critical thinking and develop solutions.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Work in an office and warehouse environment with various personalities in a positive and productive manner
  • Able to lift and move 70 pounds, as well as larger items as team lift
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions in order to determine potential product issues
  • Ability to recognize and identify product defect or issue without specific knowledge of what defect is present
  • Ability to recognize and determine cause of defects, including, but not limited to poor sanding, clogged sprayers, insect infestation, incorrect hardware, upholstery bunching/stitching
  • Ability to evaluate color differences in upholstery or wood samples
  • Ability to perform rework functions as required
  • Construction experience, primarily in cabinetry and finishing
  • Ability to utilize necessary tools/equipment
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
  • High school diploma
