D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Marketing Specialist. The right candidate will be responsible for division marketing functions. Works with Corporate Marketing and various media channels to create community marketing materials, campaigns and strategies. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000, including a discretionary bonus, commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate with division Marketing leadership and provide back-end project management
  • support for all active and upcoming communities.
  • Develop, review, and approve marketing materials such as collateral, ad campaigns, website
  • designs, and e-blast campaigns.
  • Proof all deliverables/tactics for correct content and ensure proper disclaimers and licensing
  • information and complies with brand standards prior to deployment.
  • Determine target audience, design, and launch email campaigns to create buzz or generate leads
  • for communities.
  • Manage content calendar of all DRH social media initiatives including Instagram, Facebook,
  • LinkedIn and report on growth and analytics.
  • Ensure all digital content is approved, accurate, and continuously up-to-date. Keep corporate sites
  • updated with fresh, relevant, and inviting content.
  • Using Google Analytics, maintain and report on the site’s overall domain, as well as individual market
  • reports, as needed. Monitor site usage metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • in conjunction with digital consultants.
  • Manage maintenance operations of sales model complex after opening.
  • Maintain marketing department supplies.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize while focusing on detail orientation and effective time management.
  • Ability to work with employees among multiple departments
  • A self-starter, take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Keep current and up to date with industry trends to improve marketing initiatives
  • Additional duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field from a four-year college or university
  • 2 or more years of experience in the building industry
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 365) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Proficient knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
  • Expert multi-tasker with a high level of organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Skilled at maintaining a high attention to detail
  • Experience in digital marketing
  • Working knowledge in JD Edwards
