Many of the same technologies have been utilized in Marvell storage system solutions products, powering PCs, servers, cloud, and enterprise systems.

We developed critical IPs in SSD controllers, such as NVMe and flash controllers, that played a pivotal role in the functions and performance of SSD controllers. Promising engineers like you will have the opportunity to work on numerous types of interfaces with host and NAND and advanced error correction technology in our SSD controllers and be part of an agile team with the capability to support product development for different market segments in a short period of time.

What You Can Expect

As our Principal Digital Design Engineer, you will be able to lead and contribute to the development of the next-generation SSD controllers. You will be responsible for the RTL coding of key blocks in the SSD controller as well as performing: 

  • Functional verification for block and system level 
  • Synthesis and timing closure 
  • RTL Lint checks 
  • Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) Lint checks 
  • Logic Equivalence Checks (LEC) 
  • Power and performance analysis 

Also, you will provide design documentation, description, and information to internal and external customers.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have completed an Engineer´s degree in electronics, computer, or related fields with 3 years of digital design experience or a master's degree in electronics, computer, or related fields with 1 year of digital design experience 
  • Have hands-on experience, in RTL coding and synthesis/timing closure 
  • Have hands-on experience, in writing design documents 
  • Have a good understanding of Linux/Unix/BSD Internals, with experience working on multi-threaded systems 
  • Have strong Programming Skills in Scripting/programming languages like PERL/Python, TCL & C/C++, in a Unix-type environment, with good problem-solving skills 
  • Have strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
