About the Role

As the Senior Manager of AWS Alliances for the Americas (AMER) region, you will be pivotal in establishing and nurturing a strong partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is a new and exciting role in one of the key growth drivers within the GTM organization. You will collaborate with Miro’s sales teams, product marketing, partnerships operations, and AWS in this cross-functional role. This role reports to the Head of Global Channel and will have many opportunities for Leadership and Executive visibility. This role will also oversee the day-to-day management of a contractor.

What you’ll do

  • Strategic Partnership Building: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to establish, strengthen, and maintain a strategic partnership with AWS in AMER. Cultivate relationships at all levels within AWS to enhance collaboration and drive mutual success.
  • Joint Business Planning: Work closely with cross-functional teams to create and execute joint business plans with AWS that align with the specific co-sell needs and opportunities in the AMER market. Ensure strategies are tailored to regional nuances.
  • Market Positioning and Thought Leadership: Represent Miro as a thought leader in the AWS ecosystem within the AMER region. Collaborate with AWS and Miro marketing and sales teams to position our solutions effectively in the market and capitalize on regional trends.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through the AWS partnership by identifying and capitalizing on joint business opportunities. Collaborate with regional sales teams to ensure the successful execution of joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Enablement and Training: Facilitate training and enablement programs for internal teams at Miro and AWS to enhance their understanding of reciprocal technologies and solutions. Ensure that our teams are well-equipped to effectively engage with AWS and deliver value to our clients in the region.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the AWS partnership in the AMER region. Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on the status of the partnership and areas for improvement.

What you’ll need

  • 6+ years in a partner-facing, quota-carrying role in business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales at a software-as-a-service organization
  • 3+ years of experience managing an AWS partnership at a high-growth SaaS company
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, marketplaces, and the AWS ecosystem
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an understanding of regional nuances
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through partnerships in the AMER market.Strategic mindset with a track record of developing and executing
