The Role

At SellerX we are growing our Data Engineering Department and now we are looking for a Senior Python Engineer (x/f/m)] to join our team. In this role you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality software applications. Your Responsibilities in Detail

• Develop and maintain robust software applications using Python, SQL, and AWS.
• Integrate with third-party APIs, such as the Amazon Selling Partner API.
• Implement data storage solutions like PostgreSQL and data warehouse solutions like Snowflake.
• Write comprehensive documentation, design documents, and RFCs.
• Collaborate with fellow developers, contribute to API ingestion tools, and actively participate in code reviews.
• Sta informed about emerging trends and technologies to optimize existing processes and implement new automated solutions.
• Deliver incremental value in an agile setup (we use SCRUM).
• Report directly to our Head of Engineering, work cross-functionally with Product and Data Foundation teams, and influence our product roadmap.

Your Background

To join our team, you bring along:

• University degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
• Growth mindset, with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in software development using Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of database management systems and experience working with relational databases.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with the SCRUM agile framework.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapt quickly to changes, and deliver high-quality results.
• Detail-oriented problem solver passionate about your work.
• Supportive team player with a strong work ethic, eager to learn, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
• Exposure and/or interest in our tech infrastructure: Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Action, Terraform.
• Proactive and independent working style, comfortable with frequent 1:1 meetings with the manager.
• Ability to work in the European timezone.
