Job Responsibilities 

  • Supervise the completion of month end closing process including journal entry preparation, account analysis and reconciliations 
  • Ad hoc reporting as requested 
  • Assist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements 
  • Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives, and budgets 
  • Build on mentorship capabilities by guiding key talent through constructive criticism and growth opportunities 
  • Lead and supervise staff by actively managing a pipeline of projects and resources 
  • Maintain great relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to provide a tailored service 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working in accounting and finance, including experience in Tax, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll etc. 
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software packages 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Enrolled agent or CPA credentials
