Want to join a large French company with iconic brands and work among convivial teams? Join Pernod Ricard’s Global Markets team within the Legal Department of Pernod Ricard S.A, as the next intern starting in July 2024. 

Your key missions? 

  • You will assist in the negotiation, drafting and monitoring of contracts set up within the Group and with third parties (e.g. distribution contracts, raw material supply contracts, marketing contracts, NDAs) in the various markets and be responsible for following up and recording them in the Group databases 
  • You will assist with contract management: drafting letters of formal notice or termination, and renewal or amendments
  • You will assist in managing the governance and corporate law topics of French and foreign subsidiaries
  • You will assist and support the Group’s Antitrust experts with regards to day-to-day advice and legal research in the area of Competition Law (i.e., Antitrust, merger control, state aids and distribution law) 
  • You will assist in implementing internal Group policies, particularly in terms of compliance (e.g. anti-corruption, competition law)
  • You will assist in monitoring pre-litigation and litigation in progress in different regions: breach of commercial relations, breach of contract, etc.
  • You will have occasional trips to Companies House, courts or notaries for apostille or legalization of documents

  • You are a Master student with solid legal training in business law/international business law/ Antitrust law; double degree or LLM appreciated
  • You have at least 6 months' experience in international business law firms and/or in the legal departments of major companies
  • You have an excellent level of written and spoken English (fluency in another language such as Spanish, German, Italian or Russian would be a plus)
  • You have the ability to work as part of a team, open-mindedness.
  • Flexibility, proactivity, autonomy and rigor
