About the Team

The Head of North America Business Marketing (NABM), is a core partner to the General Manager of North America in enabling a robust sales organization to deliver our aggressive revenue goals. This leader is a multifaceted marketer at their core with robust experience in B2B and B2C marketing and an expert in platform and ad tech.

This person reports into the Global Head of Business Marketing and partners closely with the NA Sales and Product Strategy teams to develop local go to market communications that enable marketers and agencies to enhance TikTok in their media plans. The Head of NABM is a thought leader, strong mentor, player/coach and will directly lead and inspire the local go to market team and Canada regional team to deliver strong go to market strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve the team vision and drive plans and deliverables for 2024 and beyond: deliver ongoing objectives and KPIs that drive the success of North America
  • Attend key client meetings to educate clients on marketing best practices on TikTok
  • Operate in close partnership with key discipline leaders across GBS to ensure that together, we deliver against shared goals
  • Work directly with the Head of Global Business Marketing to ensure that we deliver our business brand seamlessly on a global scale
  • Operate in strong partnership with the regional business marketing teams, providing recommendations, co-partnership and opps for us to show up well and leverage opps to create scale in our work
  • Deliver independent, innovative projects and also guide exceptional work across cross-discipline teams supporting the NABM business (Creative, Industry Relations, Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing Solutions & Strategy)
  • Identify marketing methods of scale to land key messages and drive adoption of TikTok's marketing solutions
  • Mentor grow and guide a dynamic team to deliver successfully in their roles across the company
  • Be a creative thinker, strategic leader, flawless executor who is focused on delivering real business impact while providing inspiration internally and externally within our fast paced environment
  • Leverage your experience in presenting on big stages, at events and industry conferences
  • Show up as a culture carrier and builder for the team and company

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of marketing and ad tech and it’s evolution in the industry
  • Expert in the media landscape and ability to guide brands and agencies on why TikTok delivers for their business
  • Thought leader who is confident in building industry narratives and collaborating with cross-functional leadership for input
  • Business leader and operator who can lead several disciplines in delivering for the business
  • Innovative marketer who understands ‘Brandformance’ and brings a creative approach to B2B performance marketing
  • Strong understanding of CRM marketing and the role it plays in enabling a sales organization
  • Confident in building relationships with senior clients in partnership with sales leaders
