A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Design and manage construction of cGMP manufacturing facilities from concept design to completion
  • Complete equipment sizing and mass balance specifications to ensure functionality and efficiency
  • Create and develop process calculations, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), facility layout, and equipment lists
  • Develop new and innovative solutions to enhance production, focusing on improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency for process/manufacturing end users
  • Partner with business development team as a subject matter expert, developing conceptual design facility layouts, and supporting proposal development for comprehensive design/build or EPC solutions
  • Understand the principles of hygienic design and identify potential risks associated with the construction of cGMP facilities
  • Travel to prospects and jobsites during pursuit or execution of projects, as required

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • 1-7 years of process engineering or manufacturing facility building project management required. Experience in advanced/high-tech manufacturing including pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and/or clean industrial manufacturing sectors
  • Strong competency in principles of industrial engineering
