We are looking for a colleague to join our team in Kaunas office. We expect to meet at the office 3 days a week.

In this role, you will:

  • Build, maintain and improve products, together with your team, across 7 brands and 60+ domains using Full Stack technologies (React, Java, SQL);
  • Help the technical team grow via mentoring, code reviews and short presentations;
  • Work with various stakeholders in the company to drive business vision;
  • Implement feature refinements and track outcome using A/B testing;
  • Steer architecture towards performance, quality, reusability:
  • Have an open mindset for technical improvements on every level of stack (UI, Cache layer, SQL, Elastic, etc.);
  • Locate and eliminate sources of recurring issues;
  • Work with PMs on spec reviews and data analysis;
  • Follow KPIs (revenue, sessions, etc.) and be part of the data driven decision making process.

Task Examples:

  • Using given specification and mocks build a page for users searching for hotels in specific location (e.g.: “Hotels in Manhattan”);
  • Improve hotel’s reviews component by implementing full-text review search functionality (backend and frontend);
  • Migrate a specific page to React;
  • Redesign current backend solutions to Restful API;
  • Investigate a Web Vital Metrics issue and suggest a solution.

Compensation

Salary consists of three parts:

Base part: may start from 1679 EUR Gross up to 3992 EUR Gross.

In addition:

  • significant yearly bonuses, approx 10 percent annual salary;
  • Booking Holdings RSU (Restricted Stock Units) package, worth 20K USD (before taxes) with possibility to get it every year.

Salary range provided is not final and will be discussed during the process based on your skills and experience.
