The Role

At SellerX we are growing our Finance team and now we are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner (x/f/m) to join our team. In this role you will be a vital member of our finance team with the core responsibility of leading the strategic and operational forecasting for the Group's operating expenses and payroll.

Collaborating with department leaders, you will actively drive initiatives to successful delivery. You will further act as the finance point of contact for a product vertical, partnering with the commercial directors and overseeing its financial management. You will play a crucial part in meeting operational, commercial, and financial targets, presenting insightful analyses, and influencing corporate and commercial decisions. Sounds exciting? Your Responsibilities in Detail

• Own the strategic (3-5Y) and operational (1-12M) planning process for the groups operating expenses and payroll.
• Ensure opex and payroll initiatives are delivered by actively steering them with the department leaders.
• Support the overall corporate planning and consolidation process and drive scalable process improvements.
• Oversee the financial management of one of our product verticals and act as a business partner to our category management.
• Work closely with all departments across the company. You connect the dots and gain a deep understanding of your product vertical to produce high-quality financial forecasts and analysis.
• Provide effective commercial procedures or initiate change, to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered.
• Challenge the status quo and drive change through data and analysis.
• Design, set up and manage scalable FP&A processes and analytics that drive value-add for all stakeholders
• Work with our Tech department to further scale our reporting and forecasting capabilities.

Your Background

To join our team, you bring along 

• 7+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance with strong commercial partnering background.
• Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or Economics degree.
• Strong understanding of financial and management accounting principles and concepts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Finance based modeling skills.
• SQL knowledge, Ecommerce/FMCG related experience as well as experience with Power BI or other visualization software are preferred. 
• Proficient in dynamic commercial settings, with an open-minded, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Adaptable to ambiguity, a proactive self-starter, and skilled in clear and concise communication of complex ideas.
