The Internal Software team at Rigetti Computing is responsible for supporting and accelerating the continual improvement of the company's quantum processor hardware: theory and design; fabrication; device characterization for process feedback; and calibration and deployment of our quantum processing units (QPUs) for benchmarking and application development. We own data infrastructure, web applications, and a framework for writing and rewriting calibration software in Python by a team of user/developers who specialize in experimental physics and quantum benchmarking.
This role is a leadership position within the team. We'll rely on you to own the team's small portfolio of web applications, ensuring stability of those that are mature while leading the architecture and development of a new application. We have a strong and supportive organization that will support you in becoming our guru on these applications, and you'll be able to build and leverage great relationships with internal stakeholders who are always a Slack huddle away from some face time and fast feedback and happy to dive into technical details when you need them. As the company grows, we would ideally like you to able to expand your reach by managing people and potentially hiring new additions as you find the need arises (while staying scrappy of course).Can't wait to talk to you!
