As leader of audio innovation, Dolby explores new ways of delivering immersive audio experiences. As part of this work, we are evaluating and testing innovative ideas in the context of virtual and augmented reality audio (6 degrees of freedom). It will be your responsibility to help us develop and evaluate new ideas for virtual reality, including latest video and audio rendering technologies.

Responsibilities

• Studying and evaluating state-of-the-art Virtual Reality audio rendering tools.
• Acting as a critical tester and listener.
• Guiding internal and external testers during test execution.
• Writing comprehensive documentation.

Requirments:

• Good understanding of VR-/AR-technologies.
• Experience with VR and gaming is of advantage.
• Linux/Windows command line basics.
• Very good spoken and written English, with document writing skills.
• Open-minded and can-do attitude with attenton to details.

Eligibility

• Working towards a degree in Computer Science, Audiovisual or Electric Engineering, Design, Mathematics, Physics or similar.
• Available to full time or work part-time for the duration of the internship.
