Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated E-commerce Listing and Cataloging Intern to join our growing team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of e-commerce, with a focus on product listing, catalog management, and content optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Listing:
  • Assist in creating and optimizing product listings across various e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensure accurate and compelling product descriptions, titles, and images.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product information.
  • Catalog Management:
  • Support the maintenance and organization of the product catalog.
  • Update product information, pricing, and availability as needed.
  • Ensure consistency in product categorization and attributes.
  • Content Optimization:
  • Work on optimizing product content for search engine visibility.
  • Implement best practices for keyword usage and SEO optimization.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance product messaging.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of product listings.
  • Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors in product information.
  • Market Research:
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor product listings.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving product visibility.
  • Reporting:
  • Assist in generating reports on product performance and sales metrics.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations based on performance data.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled/ completed a Bachelor's program in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and product listing best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Ebay, or Amazon.
  • Basic knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
  • Interest in digital marketing and e-commerce trends.
