The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

  • The primary objective of this position is to hit revenue targets for enterprise market segment in India. You will be accountable for quarterly booking targets for selling EUC products (perpetual and SaaS) across, along with Professional Services, and educational offerings.
  • You will need to orchestrate territory coverage through effective collaboration with internal team/Core Sales team and external partners. You will work closely with top Partner Executives/Sellers across the territory, including leading VARs, Distributors, Corporate Resellers, OEMs, and Cloud/Hosting Partners.
  • Build healthy pipeline for current and future quarters, and progress the deals to meet quarterly revenue expectations.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

As part of the EUC team, you will be expected to:

  • Build effective business relationships with customer IT managers, Directors, VPs, and C-level executives.
  • Facilitate executive workshops designed to consult on EUC transformation and influence business and EUC strategy.
  • Develop high-quality Value Cases and assist in ROI and TCO analysis.
  • Establish solid working relationships with VMware strategic account teams, sales leadership, Professional Services and Channel Sales teams.
  • Spread best practices among accounts/account teams and elevate strategic mindshare with those accounts.

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?

The hiring manager for this role is Koushik Chatterjee, Senior Manager, End User Computing Sales, India. He has stepped into the leadership role this year, for EUC Business in India, after successfully leading the EUC Enterprise business in India-South. This is his 10th year in VMware, all in EUC. Koushik is passionate about helping organizations realize the full potential of their workforce by making use of VMware’s Anywhere Workplace portfolio. He spends a fair amount of time in building and sustaining key relationships with customers in the region. During a career spanning 18 years, Koushik has worked in various sales roles as Account Manager, Sales Manager and Specialist Sales. Koushik is an inclusive leader, who believes in hiring the best talent for the role, encouraging his team to bring their best to work, and grow with the business.
