Job Description:
Parsons is adding several Water Resources/Drainage Engineering professionals to our team in Centreville, Virginia office to support transportation projects! Our Engineers support both conventional and design-build projects, for Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland, as well as support other states. We have several potential high-profile projects that you could work on.

In this position, you will perform engineering and design functions requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories of fluid mechanics, hydrology, and hydraulics engineering studied under a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering program or a related field. In addition, you may assist in-field inspections and the preparation of inspection reports. This role can be based in various Parsons offices around the DC area.
Typical responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate should have an interest in participating in multi-disciplinary Civil Engineering-Transportation drainage projects. We expect you to have an understanding of current environmental issues and sustainability relating to development projects, and a shared vision for collaboration with the project team. You will work under the direction of Lead Engineers and/or project managers on water resources and drainage design projects.

Salary Range:
$59,300.00 - $103,800.00
