The Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Accounting Associate to work in our Management Company Accounting team. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day work associated with our US management company.

What you’ll do

This role is responsible for preparing and tracking detailed, allocated expense accruals, variance analysis and assisting with the month-end close process. This individual will reconcile monthly expenses to fund administrator’s trial balances and compile and distribute monthly reports of expenses with detailed variance comments. He/she will maintain, update, and evaluate accounting policies and procedures in line with US GAAP and assist with annual audit and tax work papers as well as ad-hoc report preparations and projects. They will assist with monitoring and maintaining appropriate financial controls, policies and procedures to support existing operations and continued growth of the firm.

What you’ll bring

What you need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (e.g. look ups, pivot tables, sumifs, index match, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of assigned projects and tasks
  • Process and detail oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Highly organized and self-motivated

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $70,000 and $80,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
