As a Frontend Engineer at Remitly Tel Aviv, you will have the opportunity to build innovative products that affect our customers’ lives directly, lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, and build top-notch consumer-facing applications for millions of users using the most advanced technologies.

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Software Engineer to join our R&D team to build out our products and services to support new initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Building a slick mobile app that will be able to serve more than a Million monthly customers, with the most advanced technologies.
• Being the focal point of the team for all frontend development needs
• Creating complex client flows and business logic, emphasizing reusability and quality.
• Building performant and scalable client system, keeping them up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
• Building and maintaining highly available financial services, while taking into account high data integrity and security standards. You will have the opportunity to build our next generation of products from scratch.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in building and delivering production code.
• 2+ years of experience with React.js or React Native.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Utilizing TDD methodologies.
• Great communication skills.
• Deep architectural skillset
• Team player who is eager to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment and solve complex problems.
• A proactive person with a keen eye for details, who constantly wants to improve the system and grow
• Enthusiastic about building consumer-facing products with great UX and UI.

Advantages:

• Deep knowledge of API standards such as REST, GraphQL, etc.
• Experience with React-native-web.
• Experience building web servers using Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Experience with testing frameworks such Jest / Enzyme.
• Experience building web servers using Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Experience with building and debugging mobile apps.
• Advanced understanding in Webpack and bundling tools.
• Working on a b2c product using data-driven methodologies and analytics tools
• Experience with CI/CD and advanced deployment strategies
