Job Description

In our Finland ASIC development center locations at Oulu and Espoo, we develop ASICs for Bosch Sensortec. Your responsibility will be leading the digital design and verification of Mixed-Signal or System-on-chip ASICs for consumer applications.

• Create something new: You work in interdisciplinary teams and develop digital ASIC components for Consumer ICs from concept to implementation.
• Reliable implementation: You help us to ensure the “First Time Right” of our IC Designs through focused design reviews, fool-proof design approaches, solid design for test and design for verification approaches, thorough Physical design practices and comprehensive static timing analysis as well as guiding and supporting our verification team.
• Think holistically: You understand design requirements, block level specifications and design documentation and design in accordance. You are an integral part of development activities until product release, where you support the characterization and validation of our IC Designs after tape-out.
• Networked communication: You work in an international and globally distributed team of experts.
• Conscientious coordination: You plan and delegate digital design tasks together with the team. You support us in continuously improving our digital design methodology.

Qualifications

• Personality: High level of enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to work in international and interdisciplinary teams
• Working Practice: Effective team player with focused and independent working style. People oriented, used to running and creating processes for flawless execution.
• Experience: 5+ years of Industry experience is mandatory. High expertise in digital design (Concepts, Design Trade-Offs, RTL to PnR and STA), high expertise in digital design methodologies, basic skills in project management (planning, delegation, tracking). Previous experience of leading a design and managing a team of digital IC design experts. Near-threshold design experience is desirable.
• Languages: Proficient English language skills
• Education: Degree (Ph.D, M.Sc., B.Sc.) of electrical engineering or equivalent with outstanding results.
