Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in Sydney or Melbourne:

Intra-fund Financial Adviser (phone based)

We will count on you to:

  • The intra-fund advice team is a fast paced, dynamic environment where the interests of members is our number one priority. 
  • All team members are highly skilled superannuation professionals.
  • Provision of intra-fund advice to members of superannuation funds administered by Mercer.
  • Have broad conversations, which identify member’s financial needs.
  • Refer members to comprehensive advice teams to have their needs outside their superannuation met.
  • Prepare and issue SOA documentation within a 10 day timeframe.
  • Ensure all interactions with members are within the MFA compliance framework.

What you need to have: 

  • Registered on ASIC Adviser Register.
  • Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning or an Accredited Relevant Degree.
  • FASEA exam pass.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in the financial advice business.
  • Previous phone based experience – preferable.
  • Outstanding phone manner.
  • Strong focus on member experience and meeting member’s best interest.
