Fund Accountant- Team Leader

Role Location: Ebene, Mauritius

As a Fund Accountant Associate, you will handle and support seniors on accounting matters delegated by the immediate and subsequent reporting line(s).

As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible to, under the guidance of seniors:

  • Handling and providing support to seniors on accounting matters as delegated by the immediate/subsequent reporting line(s)
  • Liaise with clients, as required
  • Ensure that accounting-related matters required to be completed are performed promptly and satisfactorily
  • Provide support on statutory audits, annual returns, APS returns, PAYE returns, TDS returns and VAT returns
  • Assist seniors in preparing accounts in statutory format, including all applicable disclosures and arranging for sign-off of accounts/management accounts.

Please note that the above is not an exhaustive list of duties. Fulfilment of additional duties as and when required is expected from the Fund Accountant.

You will need a degree or have started and partly completed ACCA or equivalent to apply for this Associate Accountant role. You will also require the following:

  • 1+ years of working experience in the Global Business Sector / Accounting / Audit firm or equivalent
  • A demonstratable client service mindset when servicing the client.
  • The ability to work under pressure and strict timelines when required.
