Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in business/marketing analytics, information systems, statistics, or marketing preferred.
  • 2-4 years' experience in marketing data interpretation and reporting; healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Must possess strong ability to perform analysis and communicate findings in actionable manner.
  • Experience with analytics reporting and data interpretation/presentation
  • SQL report writing skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications Skills required.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and problem solving skills required.
  • Strong ability to work independently and within team setting to achieve outcomes

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Business Analyst is responsible for performing research and providing insights regarding the market, trends, competitors, potential and existing customers, and current campaigns. This role is responsible for overseeing, organizing, and optimizing marketing data used to help drive strategic decisions and work activities for the AtlantiCare Marketing & Communications department.

This position will be responsible for the collection, validation, and analysis of marketing and business data from multiple access points and interprets the output as charts, graphs, tables, dashboards and correlations using available software such as Excel and Tableau.

The analyst delivers comparative and correlative analyses to support business decision and quality improvement initiatives created and implemented by the AtlantiCare Marketing & Communications department. The Marketing Business Analyst collaborates with members of the Marketing Services team, Digital team, and Marketing leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required; degree in business/marketing analytics, information systems, statistics, or marketing preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 4 years of previous data analyst experience required. Advanced MS Excel and Access skills/experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications Skills required. Strong oral, written communication and problem solving skills required.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. This position requires some walking/standing and may have prolonged periods of sitting. Works with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, printer, telephone and copier. Position requires some travel, flexibility of hours including weekends, evenings and on-call duties as well as lifting up to 20 lbs. Essential functions for this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

This position reports to AVP, Marketing & Communications.
