Job Description

This is a Department of Labor Registered Internship Program and applicants need to have prior approval for the program.

The Axis Communications Military Apprenticeship Program: Secure your future is an approved Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Program. Active duty transitioning service members from any branch of service may apply if they meet the eligibility requirements. DoD Instruction 1322.29 allows service members to participate in the program with command approval. Your transition office will provide candidates with the necessary documentation to obtain approval. Current U.S. Armed Forces including Active Reserve, Active Guard Reserve and Military Spouses are encouraged to apply.

What opportunities are available?

Across the United States:

  • Sales Internships – These internships / apprenticeships are located at any one of our offices throughout the United States. This is an on-site position.
  • Technical Sales Internship – The technical sales apprenticeship requires prior experience troubleshooting technology such as cameras, phone systems and network systems.

Only at our Headquarters in Chelmsford Massachusetts:

  • Technical Services Representative – The technical services representative internship requires prior customer service experience. Location is Chelmsford Massachusetts.
  • Marketing Internship – Prior marketing experience is required. Location is Chelmsford Massachusetts

Note: As published in the Joint ethics regulations of the Department of Defense and as outlined in the U.S. Department of Labor’s Fact Sheet #71 of January 2018, Service members participating in a SkillBridge program are participating in a Capstone training experience at the end of the military career and are NOT eligible for wages or other benefits from industry partners since the program is supported by the Department of Defense which will continue to cover the salaries and benefits of the participating members.
