The Finance Systems Transformation team is responsible for running SHAPE+ - a DHL Group cross-divisional Finance transformation program. SHAPE+ aims at driving standardization and automation of core Accounting and Cost Accounting processes across Business Units and their consolidation into ONE SAP S/4HANA Finance ERP platform. This will significantly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our Finance set-up and is the basis for the continuous transformation and digitalization of the DHL Group Finance organization.

As a Project Manager / Process Manager, you are supporting the development and roll-out of the system and process model in the area of Order-to-Cash (OtC).

You will be part of the process design team in the SHAPE+ Program. In close collaboration with the Cross-Divisional Process Owner, divisional process experts, the SHAPE+ community and external partners, you will define solutions for business requirements and support the rollout of the system and process template to the operational entities worldwide. You will ensure project delivery, design training materials and be part of continuous improvement.

Your Tasks

  • Ensure professional project management by transparent prioritization and planning, outlining of project progress, discussion of issues/ solutions on detailed level, creation of result analysis, preparing and delivering presentations to international audiences (e.g. steering committees, Senior Management)
  • Act as agile Project Manager
  • Coordinate and facilitate between Process owner, divisional teams and ERP development team
  • Tracking and updating tasks in Jira/Confluence
  • Ensuring execution and reporting progress
  • Support the design of end-to-end processes in OtC
  • Contribute to process analysis and standardization jointly with divisional process experts
  • Be part of defining solution options based on the SHAPE+ template
  • Conduct process modelling and documentation and create functional specifications
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives 
  • Organize fit-to-standard workshops as part of continuous improvement 
  • Analyze efficiency and quality improvement potentials and propose solutions
  • Drive alignment with other process towers and end-to-end optimization 
  • Support the development and implementation of the cross-divisional governance model incl. the design and implementation of internal controls
  • Ensure consistent and updated process documentation, design and conduct trainings, create user communication and change management measures

Your Profile

  • 3-4 years’ work Experience as a Project Manager (ideally in Finance, Accounting or Order-to-Cash/Accounts Receivable)
  • University Degree in Project Management/Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent working experience 
  • Strong conceptual design & analytical skills
  • Distinct processual way of thinking and ideally experience in process modelling with Signavio/BPMN 2.0
  • Familiar with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools 
  • Technical affinity (i.e. design/implementation of software solutions, SAP S/4HANA or ECC 6.0, etc.)
  • Interest to learn Order-to-Cash/Accounts Receivable on a detailed process and SAP S/4HANA ERP system level
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with high level of enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure
  • Fluent English skills, German would be beneficial
