About the Team

The XR Engine and Runtime team at Pico builds the core technologies to make the immersive XR experience possible. From runtime software to developer SDK and game engines, the team is responsible for creating and optimizing XR technologies vertically across the software stacks, empowering our developers to create the best XR applications. Now we are looking for Senior Unity Engine Engineer to join our fast-growing team where you'll have intensive growth opportunities.

What You Will Do:

• Integrate Pico Technology / SDK into Unity Engine
• Optimize Unity Engine for XR and Pico hardware
• Develop innovating XR game engine features
• Work with Pico SDK / Runtime team on developer-facing OpenXR extensions
• Developer ecosystem support, addressing developer pain points
• Drive XR Engine technology direction with XFN teams

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of Unity or other AAA game engine development experience
• Ability to work in big code base
• Good understanding of modern graphic pipeline
• Familiar with one or more graphics API (Vulkan/OpenGL/DirectX/Metal)
• Experience in C++ / C# Programming

Preferred Qualifications

Solid knowledge and experience in at least 2 of the following areas:

• Good understanding of Unity Engine Architecture
• Experience with AR/VR
• Experience with OpenXR
• Experience delivering AAA Games
• Experience with Android development ( SDK / NDK )
• Familiar with modern mobile CPU/GPU architecture (eg. Qualcomm SOC )
• Experience with low level performance profiling and optimization
• Experience with Native Unity Engine Plugin development
• Experience with CPU / GPU Profiling tool development
