The position of Media & Entertainment Sales Associate is responsible for developing and supporting new business relationships within the media and entertainment industry.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop prospective clients through several strategies including internet sourcing, trade shows, referrals, market research, various professional directories and personal investigation
• Engage in daily strategic outreach efforts (cold calls, email campaigns, digital marketing, LinkedIn, networking events) to source new clients + opportunities
• Responsible for growing new business from existing clients and expanding current relationships; focus on relational selling
• Work closely with sales management throughout sales cycles to identify, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
• Research and develop a comprehensive understanding of the media and entertainment industry, including industry trends, major players, current events, and competitive landscape
• Establish a deep understanding of TransPerfect, particularly our services, technologies, and dubbing studios that support media and entertainment
• Work collaboratively with various internal groups, including production, marketing, and sales management to provide the best possible solutions to our clients

Who We Are Looking For:

Your experience includes:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service + interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented
• Effective time management + organizational skills
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred:

• Prior internship/work experience, preferably in sales or customer service
• Presentation skills/eye for design
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
