We are looking for an Intern Underwriting – Energy & Construction (m/f/d), based in Munich.

The Impact You Will Have 

• The German Energy & Construction underwriting team is looking for an intern to support the underwriters in various activities. This team is responsible for assessing and evaluation large and complex construction projects and technical risks worldwide and providing insurance solutions to corporate clients operating globally.
• Some of your specific responsibilities could include
• Support in the preparation of offers and cover notes
• Participate in client meetings and internal coordination meetings
• Support with the premium calculation and review of wordings
• Support with various reporting and analytics tasks 
• Communicate with clients and brokers 
• Support with portfolio analyses and claims evaluations.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

You will be….

• Currently enrolled in university (or planning to attend in the immediate future) with a focus on business administration or mathematics and the aim of achieving a bachelor or master’s degree
• An active team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Self-organized, structured and efficient way of working

You will have…

• Good knowledge of MS Office (mainly Word and advanced Excel skills are helpful)
• Ideally working experience in an international company 
• German and English language skills
