Work within the Data Engineering team to design and implement scalable and robust software platform for ingesting and transforming telco network datasets in (near) real-time using a variety of open-source and proprietary Big Data technologies.
Collaborate with product management, sales and marketing, and solution delivery teams to support the objectives that customer requirements are well managed and reflected in product releases.
Support the deployment of DataSpark software within clients' IT environment.
Work closely with stake holders to ensure high standards of data governance during implementation.
Requirements
Computer science, data analytics, business analytics under-graduates with a keen interest in tools& platforms that moves high volume of data to empower data science and machine learning discovery.
Have been programming in either school projects, personal projects, open-source projects with a passion on deepening skills in data engineering tech stack such as Spark, Hadoop, Presto.
Demonstrated proficiency in either Scala or Python programming language.
Demonstrated clear and thorough logical and analytical thinking, as well as problem solving skills.
Knowledge in algorithms, data structures and proficiency in SQLs.
Attention to details with an innate concern on data quality & accuracy.
