Group/Division

KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Primary Purpose of Role:

The role forms a vital part of the Operational Finance team, which maintains a focus on enhancing business partnering activities within Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations for a large Global Manufacturing Organisation. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of inventory, ensuring robust controls, and providing management information for the control of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and production of monthly management accounts with variance analysis and supporting commentary
  • Inventory controls to include; inventory reconciliations and preparation of monthly inventory schedules
  • Develop and prepare monthly KPI’s
  • Perform quarterly obsolescence reviews and investigate reasons for obsolescence
  • Ensure accuracy and control in transactional processing within Stores
  • Co-ordinate annual stock takes and regular cycle counts
  • Provide inventory management support by reviewing inventory transactions and adjustments
  • Challenge and measure manufacturing and purchasing effectiveness
  • Ensure and maintain accurate product costs
  • Support standard cost review process, and assist with Group costing activities
  • Review current procedures and processes with the view to suggesting and implementing improvements
  • Assist with maintaining and developing strong internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel with a range of advanced Excel skills (including lookups, pivots etc)
  • Good knowledge of ERP accounting software, preferably SAP
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic organisation
  • Experience working in standard cost environment
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyse data to draw actionable conclusions
  • Ability to effectively present and communicate information to wide range of stakeholders
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications:

  • Qualified / Part-qualified, finance / accounting qualification e.g. CIMA / ACCA or relevant experience
  • Costing and inventory experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
  • Preferably a knowledge and exposure to SOX practices

Working Hours: Days with flexibility

  • Some WFH may be available*
