Job Description

The Smart Recruiters Platform Team is looking for an Engineering Team Lead - to expand and strengthen our Delivery and Developer Experience team. 

In this role you will leverage your tech-savviness, business acumen and people management skills to positively impact our platform used by our product engineers. Your key success factors are going to be on-schedule roadmap delivery, team’s performance and growth, and successful cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll deliver: 

• Planning and delivering technical roadmap for the team
• Lead by example and be responsible for team members’ professional growth
• Support the engineering team in taking ownership of related platforms components
• Cooperate closely with other Platform and Product Engineering teams on strategic initiatives
• Apply your coding skills to expand our internal engineering platform 

Qualifications

• Your hands-on experience allows you to effectively assess technical problems and guide the team through technical challenges (core technologies for us in this area are Java, AWS / GCP, Docker and Kubernetes)
• You have experience leading and coordinating software engineering projects and you have solid knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• You have led medium sized engineering teams (4-8 people) 
• You are passionate when it comes to:
• overseeing roadmap planning and execution
• distributing project goals and communicating targets with team members, 
• effective teamwork facilitation (building meaningful team metrics, refactoring team processes, discovering and addressing bottlenecks, fostering healthy and engaging teamwork culture, etc.)
• You are an excellent and thoughtful communicator (fluency in English is a must)
