Hitachi Energy is seeking a Talent & Learning University Intern. The internship can be located in Raleigh, North Carolina or be remote. This internship can also be extended on a part-time basis in the fall. As a Hitachi Energy Talent Acquisition Intern, you will work alongside experienced Talent professionals to source candidates, perform market analysis, and recommend qualified candidates for consideration. As an intern, you will develop a better understanding of how Talent functions in a large organization; learn to articulate business needs into tangible actions; and learn daily from experienced, professional mentors.

Your responsibilities

  • Source and screen a strong pipeline of diverse early career talent for our Power+ Intern and Graduate programs.
  • Review candidate resumes from multiple talent pools and match them with open opportunities where applicable.
  • Provide candidate assessments that drive effective decisions to interview.
  • Identify areas that can be improved in the selection and hiring process.
  • Support events management, brand representation, project management, and full-cycle recruitment in high-volume setting.
  • Support Intern program activities.
  • Support talent and learning projects.

Your background

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at a 4 year US college/university.
  • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate with a solution-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Level management.
  • Technical curiosity and savvy; ability, skills and initiative to self-educate regarding application and use of technical recruiting tools included devices, software and apps, and social media trends. Interest and knowledge of future recruiting trends and innovative technology
