To strengthen our Statutory & Tax Team, we are looking for a Tax Specialist with hands-on experience of Polish indirect taxation. Seize this unique opportunity to take an active part in shaping our CSS center and grow together with the rapidly developing organization.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure VAT and withholding tax transactional compliance and reporting; prepare tax returns filling on a timely manner; research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings
• Support preparation of Intrastat declaration,
• Complete various tax account reconciliations,
• Prepare ad-hoc group and local reporting
• Manage queries and escalate tax risks to the Chief Accountant and Country Team Manager
• Collaborate with other stakeholders, including but not limited to business representatives as well as CSS colleagues from various streams.
• Identify areas for further process improvements and support automation of activities in scope

Your background

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the in Transactional Tax area (VAT, Intrastat) and preparing local tax declarations according to the Polish tax rules.
• Knowledge of withholding tax regulations
• Experience in working statistical reporting (NBP, GUS) as additional asset
• Masters / Bachelor Degree degree in Finance, Tax or equivalent is required
• Practical knowledge of ERP system (SAP)
• Good knowledge of Excel skills (Vlook-up, pivot table)
• Good knowledge of English language
• Process orientation and attention on details
• Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, including self-learning and researching needed to execute the tasks assigned
