As an Application Manager for HR, Finance and Functional Applications you will be responsible for capturing functional design and process flows, employing risk management and quality controls and creating a strategy of improvement that utilize industry best practices to meet business demands. The Application Manager will be actively participating with the platforms and applications teams to build a know-how understanding of integrations and how they impact the IS landscape. Your responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of new development, enhancements, and support of solution to improve quality of service for the business relative to Finance, HR, Supply Chain and related processes.
- Responsible for the Kronos Time and Attendance system.
- Advocate for the global domain strategy to the North America business stakeholders and also advocate for the Country requirements to the global domain leads.
- Engage in incident management and resolution, proving input and technical expertise related to the subject solution. While tracking service delivery metrics and projecting major impacts to solution landscapes.
- Review framework, platform and tech for new and existing solutions during implementation planning process. Support the effort estimation process while conducting technical reviews and validations of proposed solutions.
- Ensure technical documentation is maintained to include the solution architecture and infrastructure for all applications within scope.
- Collaborate with other IS teams in the improvement of the IT solution delivery process.
- Managed business partners to understand needs and working with our global architecture standards, implement solution to meet these business needs.
Your background
- Education: Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field.
- Fluent English, French is a plus
- Expertise (Years): 5 years of experience supporting systems for Human Resources or Finance domain.
- Knowledge in application management or software lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated understanding of Finance and Human Resource Processes.
- Experience supporting Kronos Time and Attendance solution, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in IT service delivery or customer support a plus.
- Desired technology experience: Kronos, SharePoint, Workday, Consur.
- Project Management Experience, Certification a plus.
- Knowledge and experience related to manufacturing and energy industry is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity.
