As a DevOps Intern you will join an Agile Team which develops nMarket I-SEM product for several Customers on Energy Market in Ireland. This position will give you an opportunity to learn how to maintain and keep operational the enterprise application using Microsoft Azure Cloud. You will cooperate with Senior DevOps Team and use our knowledge database on a daily basis.

Your responsibilities

• Release deployment of application
• Provide maintenance updates to infrastructure
• Provide infrastructural changes requested by the Customers
• Resolve the alerts from the application monitoring system
• Prepare scripts to support daily operations

Your background

• You are a university student
• You have intermediate English skills (B2)
• You are familiar with basic network configuration and connecting simple network devices (for example: sharing files or folders in the network, printer configuration, router configuration at home / small office)
• You are familiar with Windows Operating System administration (for example: applying patches, user account creation and access management)
• You know how to use applications for virtualization (for example VirtualBox)
• Knowledge of web servers and running web applications, backup creation and OS virtualization is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL, any programming language or scripting skills is a plus
