Job Summary
The Application Architect is responsible for managing the delivery of Optus employee mobile & web applications. This role has responsibility for managing & mentoring a development team consists of Snr Software Engineers, Software Engineers and Junior Software Engineers. The ultimate goal for the team is to deliver the digital applications to a high-quality level within specified budget and time frames.
Key Responsibilities
The architect will work under the guidance and assistant of the Associate Director to implement the agreed processes, roadmaps, and KPI/objectives for the team. These activities are to be applied under corporate production readiness governance in the delivery process, allowing solution delivery that is both technically sound as well as commercially effective with excellent customer experience solutions.
The success of this role will come from the architects:
The architect is expected to lead/mentor/support the team members, both in technical know-how as well as career planning & growth. When required, to mentor and implement with strong technical expertise, to manage robust fit-for-purpose solution delivery at all times. The architect needs to have key understanding in SDLC for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, must have solid experience in full stack technical solution design. Preferable experiences include Ux/Ui design using Photoshop/Figma/Sketch, AWS Infrastructure Setup & DevOps experiences.
