Technical Process Managers thrive in understanding how things work – that means mapping out processes, understanding and mitigating risks, and ensuring we have the proper controls and measurements in place that are consistent with the Global Domain & Architecture strategy – and then making them better. As a Technical Process Manager at Hitachi Power-grids, you will work intimately within our North America R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing Application domain, business stakeholders, and with extended technical teams to man-age and improve our processes from beginning to end.
Your responsibilities
- For assigned Demands, lead the interview process with participants to under-stand exactly how targeted processes currently work. Diagnose gaps & root causes. Analyze process models as they are, comparing them to desired future state and develop a strategy plan and solution to implement the needed changes.
- Participate and Design complex processes and reviews the work of the business unit process. Ensures process mapping is complete and Interview's stake-holders and process owners to define processes. Helps define standards and methods.
- Define the process recommendation documents, including presentations, process maps, supporting metrics, business requirements, and related impact analyses for complex processes or for portions of larger or inter-related processes.
- Work collaboratively with the Development team to ensure consistent data de-sign and implementation. Debug and troubleshoot data errors.
- Focused on TSA Exit plan (includes Baseline and Target). Build AS-IS Process for all TSA Applications and for TOBE Decommissioned applications, building future Application Roadmap and processes.
- Supports OCM activities (includes end-user adaption and training).
Your background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Electromechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in Discrete manufacturing IT applications and supporting the entire supply chain aligned to Industry 4.0 technology innovations.
- 8+ years of Experience in defining digital transformation process map to enterprise applications PLM, MES, and ERP systems, supporting entire supply chain.
- 5-7 years of experience in process management, business process improvement, business process management, or value stream mapping.
- Experience in Drafting or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and hands-on experience with MCAD tools, mainly PTC CREO, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
- 5+ years of experience in defining end-user adoption strategy roadmap and conduct end-user trainer the trainer programs.
- 5+ years of experience in Manage the Implementation Team to deliver the solution to the clients.
- Working knowledge of object oriented design, patterns and practices.
- A deep understanding of the .NET platform(.Net, Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, NodeJS, React)
- Familiarity with web technologies. (web servers, proxies, certificates)
- Deep understanding and experience with agile development practices, including unit testing and continuous integration. DevOps and CI/CD tools - Azure DevOps, GitHub
- Understanding Azure core platform: Compute (IaaS & PaaS), Storage, Networking.
- Effective listening and communication skills across mid-level management and business area teams.
