Drive the success of Autoscout24 products as Director of Technical Program Management, responsible for a team of Technical Program Managers. You design and maintain the AS24 technical program management framework to ensure consistent and effective management across all programs. You mentor your team to leverage the framework and bring their programs to success. You establish an overview of programs and ensure synergies are optimized, dependencies are non-blocking, priority is set and aligned, and the overall outcome is consistent with the company tech and product strategy. You structure the overview and align it with the C-Level. You also advise the CTO and Directors of Engineering on capacity optimizations.

- Ensure successful outcomes of strategic company initiatives and deliver customer value through successful internal collaboration alignment
- Disciplinary and functionally lead a team of Technical Program Managers:
- Priority setting & tracking of delivery and performance
- Co-creating and planning personal development strategy
- Ongoing feedback, coaching and knowledge sharing
- For this team’s portfolio, be accountable for methods and outcomes of:
- Facilitation of technical design
- Development of project plans & roadmaps
- Stakeholder alignment & delivery tracking
- Anticipation and mitigation of risks including dependencies and stakeholder impact (concerning end-to-end process and outcomes)
- Ensure prioritization, mitigation of risks and management of dependencies across programs in the company
- Generate functional buy-in across the whole company
- Own AutoScout24 program management framework
- Drive consistency between processes in your team’s scope and in the wider organization
- Ensure visibility and strengthen communication across the teams
- Align program landscape to long-term company strategy and making roadmap transparent
What you should bring
- Experience in people management, hiring and leading teams
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, experience with cloud computing and distributed systems is a plus
- Experience working in a cross-functional multi-team setup with technical and non-technical contributors
- Experience in software program management and/or engineering management is a plus
- Excellent coaching and leadership skills. Strong commitment to driving the development of your direct reports
- Sense of ownership and accountability for success of the team’s programs and the entire company
- Structured and data-driven approach to decision making
- Fluent English, effective verbal and written communication to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong risk and project management skills: planning of resources, deliverables, timelines, mapping & mitigation of risks and dependencies
