Reporting to our Chief Product Officer, you will be Datapeople's first product marketing professional to join the team. You will help build product messaging and assets to support demand generation, go-to-market efforts, and product strategy. Additionally, you will ensure that our Sales and Customer Success teams are equipped with the right product knowledge, language, and collateral throughout the customer lifecycle. This role could be perfect for someone with product marketing experience at a growing technology company who's excited to work with a variety of commercial teams.

You will:

  • Work with our product and content teams to develop positioning that resonates with our target buyer personas and helps them understand the benefits of our products
  • Champion our product value proposition and functionality through our website and other media
  • Partner with our product team to develop a product go-to-market strategy that complements our roadmap
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Datapeople's capabilities and stay up-to-date on our newest features
  • Communicate product value propositions and feature updates to the Sales and Customer Success team
  • Create sales and customer success collateral that spans the customer lifecycle, such as pitch decks, talk tracks, training videos, test cases, one-pagers, and more

This is a remote job and available to all candidates with work privileges currently residing in the United States.

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a product marketing role at a SaaS company
  • Experience creating technical, data-driven and marketing content focused on different buyer personas
  • You have previously created buyer personas, crafted compelling positioning and messaging, written both technical content and thought leadership, and have worked with internal partners on go to market strategies for Sales teams and other channels.
  • Experience measuring the impact of marketing efforts and campaigns
