Job Description

What you can expect in a typical day:

Using your strong decision making and negotiation skills, the Centralized Account Management role will be responsible for the growth and profitability of a portfolio of accounts assigned in their respective territory and acquiring new customer accounts . You will utilize sales tools such as Microsoft Office and Sales CRM (customer relationship management tool) to identify opportunities in existing while ensuring that volume and GM is on plan by penetrating new business within the portfolio. You will create and track sales leads within your sales channel while identifying leads in other areas of the business. You will also monitor activated accounts to ensure volume and gross margin are fully realized as committed to on the opportunity.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sales CRM (customer relationship management tools)
  • Develop a Sales Pipeline to prospect and acquire new customer accounts
  • Moving opportunities through the sale process from application to account activation
  • Solid sales and sales forecasting background
  • Able to present winning and profitable solutions
  • Understand complex opportunities and submit complex deals for approval as required
  • Understand credit granting requirements
  • Identify opportunities on existing accounts and in other areas of the business (cross leads)
  • Develop account plans with high gain customers and execute against plans
  • Develop close the gap plans on accounts that are not performing to plan
  • Discover and capture all pertinent customer information on the opportunity
  • Build profitable solution to achieve a win/win customer offer
  • Forecast opportunities that will close in the next 30/60 days
  • Understand customer pricing options
  • Participate in sales meetings as laid out in the sales management meeting cadence

Education and experience

  • University degree in business or finance (or equivalent) preferred
  • Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset
  • Professional sales training is considered an asset
  • 1-3 years experience in sales
  • Industry experience considered an asset
  • Results oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
